We arrived in Glasgow safe and sound. Maybe a little worse for the ware because of the immense PDA action going on in the train. BARF.
We got off the train, struggled trying to figure out where to go, but eventually we found it. WAY OUT IN THE BOONIES was our hostel Mclay’s Place. We had to wait an hour because “check in was not until 2.” Honestly we did not care, we were sore from climbing the volcano yesterday.
Finally, we got to go into our room.
We settled in and then headed out to Glasgow to see what the city had to offer.
Well, by this point we saw all of Glasgow. Our feet hurt so bad that we were limping. We made our way back to Buchanan Street and found a Pret to eat dinner at. We finished around 5:30 and headed back to the hostel. I am not joking we went to bed around 6:30 that is how exhausted we were!
We woke up, had breakfast, and started our journey back to London this is how we got there.
Step 1. Walk to Buchanan Bus Station
Step 2. Bus to Glasgow Airport
Step 3. Plane to London Luton
Step 4. Bus to London Luton Parkway
Step 5. Train to King’s Cross St. Pancreas
Step 6. Metropolitan line tube to Northwick Park
We made it back around 4. Literally planes, trains, and automobiles.
Overall, It was a fantastic trip! Scotland stole my heart. I wish I had more time to explore, but I will be back. This is not goodbye Scotland, just see you soon.
ALSO: MY NECKLACE FINALLY ARRIVED. I know, I know but look.
